Uniform

Another key area of the work of the pupil support team is in ensuring the high standard of school uniform worn by our pupils. We appreciate the support of both pupils and parents in maintaining the high standard of uniform throughout the school.  We believe the uniform is both practical and economical and brings a sense of common identity and pride amongst our pupils.  The uniform has been enthusiastically endorsed by the parent representative groups, the Parent Council and PTA.

A powerpoint presentation can be viewed on the main school website page which shows the required elements of our school uniform, including blazer, school skirts, shirts, trousers and footwear.

All staff in the school are involved in supporting the pupil support team in maintaining our high standards of uniform.  When in the building, pupils are expected to remove outdoor jackets and hoodies and to wear their school blazer.

Pupils are asked to change innappropriate clothing for items from our uniform store and parents may be contaced by phone or text message to share any concerns in relation to a pupils’ uniform.

East Renfrewshire Council have a policy on uniform for all schools entitled ‘Dressing for Excellence’.   A leaflet detailing the key information can be found here.

If you have any questions in relation to school uniform please contact your child’s Pupil Support Teacher or Depute Headteacher at the school.
