Rewilding

Last week we were debating over which animals we wanted back in Scotland. There was a “for” team and an “against” team. The animals we were debating for were lynx, wild boar, white tailed sea eagle, beaver, and the brown bear. It was very fun and there was lots of humor throughout. There was also alot of strong disscusions and good points.

Mile Run

The Mile Run is very healthy for you. It was a pain in the beginning, but now it’s actually very fun and easy and it keeps us healthy and motivated. We run from the P4-7 gate to the P1 gate, 3 times, each as a full lap. Mr. Fogg makes us do it in the morning so we’re awake and ready for the day. its best to do so in the morning so we are not tired at the end of the day.

Science

In Science this week we learnt how to do Oobleck. It was fun and easy to make. We learnt what would disolve, some were right but some weren’t, but it was really fun. We learnt about Atoms and how they are important. In Literacy at the end we done some questionnares to see how good and interesting we thought it was.

Crounders

This past week we’ve been doing crounders. We go out every Friday and play. It’s loads of fun and it’s very exciting and helps us work on our batting and fielding. we enjoyed this very much. Crounders is a mix of rounders and cricket.

Swimming

This week we have been doing swimming.  We go to Eastwood high and learn how to swim. Next week we are finally going to go in groups. We are learning how to do front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly (the strokes). we have to get ready really quickly and the first 3 get a starburst.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is realy fun, it helps us to be calm and happy. We also did some fun activitys like drawing our calm place we also cut out leaves and put them on our rivers. The leaves represent every one of our thoughts. We learnt about Buddha and how he is the master of mindfulness.
