NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are looking to recruit 75 young people aged between 16 and 24 for a Modern Apprenticeships. Apprentices are paid the living wage, rather than the apprentice wage, with a minimum starting salary of £16,086 or £8.25 per hour. Apprentices receive the same benefits as all NHS staff including 27 days paid annual leave and 8 public holidays. Apprentices gain formal qualification and are guaranteed a permanent job upon successful completion of the Modern Apprenticeship. Two nursery nurse Modern Apprenticeship opportunities are available at a leading nursery in Paisley. Applicants must possess three National 4 passes including English. The successful candidates will be working towards an industry recognised qualification in Social Services, Children and Young People Level 3 (Modern Apprenticeship), whilst being employed within a nursery setting.
