We made Inukshuks out of stones we collected. Inukshuks help Inuit people to find good hunting spots and they help the Inuit to find their way about the landscape.
We enjoyed taking part and watching the class talent show. There is such a variety of talent in the class. We started with a magic show, had various dance groups, some singing and some fabulous artists.

We read the book Silly Billy about a boy who worried about everything. His grandma told Billy about making a worry doll. He could then tell the worry doll all of his worries.
We explored some of the things we worry about and we all made worry dolls that we could tell our worries to. We also discussed who else we could tell our worries to and in class we made sure we all knew how to use our worry box. Let’s hope we don’t have any more worries.
We celebrated Roald Dahl’s birthday a few days early by watching an author’s event about him. Quentin Blake illustrated Dahl’s books and we got to draw one of his characters.
Every week we design and make something new using different resources,
We created our dream treehouses.
We also created submarines using art straws.
We have been learning to measure using metres and centimetres. We drew around each other with chalk to create our own flat person, then measured the height of our outline. Our flat people were very colourful.
