Christmas Talent Show
We enjoyed taking part and watching the class talent show. There is such a variety of talent in the class. We started with a magic show, had various dance groups, some singing and some fabulous artists.

Tens and Units
I have investigated how whole numbers are constructed, can
understand the importance of zero within the system and can use
my knowledge to explain the link between a digit, its place and its value.

We used tens and unit blocks to create our names then added up the value of the blocks.
Rainy Day
I can create and present work using the visual elements of line, shape, form, colour, tone, pattern and texture.

After we learned how to use different lines to create patterns we made rainy day pictures. We hope you like the patterns we made.

We read the book Silly Billy about a boy who worried about everything. His grandma told Billy about making a worry doll. He could then tell the worry doll all of his worries.
We explored some of the things we worry about and we all made worry dolls that we could tell our worries to. We also discussed who else we could tell our worries to and in class we made sure we all knew how to use our worry box. Let’s hope we don’t have any more worries.
