Our First Week Back by Bismah and Chandan.

 

We were so  happy to come back to school because we could see all our friends and we could see Miss Jagger after such a long time!

We have been learning about Ancient Egypt and it has been fun learning about the past. We are making Egyptian amulets out of clay which will turn into necklaces. We even got to use gold paint to decorate the beads we made.

We looked at our mummified tomatoes and ours were quite squashed. We did not think they would go to the tomato afterlife!
They felt soft but were very wrinkly because the salt had sucked all the water.

In language we have been reading Supercat Vs the Chip Thief and so far it is really exciting! We have also learned about adjectives which are describing words.

In maths we have been going over our timestables. The Prisms have been learning about short division, the Spheres have learned about bar graphs and the Cuboids have been learning to do Venn diagrams! We have also all been using the computers to play games related to what we have been learning.

The weather has been nice so we have done some outdoor problem solving, we thought it was exciting, fun and brilliant.
We really enjoy learning outside!

We hope we get to do some more outdoor learning and we are really looking forward to health week!
