Parents Evening

On Thursday23rd March for Parents Night, Milla, Jessica,  Imogen Sophie and Abigail all had a stall to raise money for Red Nose day.

They sold cakes, drinks,  some chocolate cacti and rock candles.

They raised £125.49  which is fantastic!

They had some balloons for decoration and the advertising posters  told the customers how much it was and what they could get.

They had a lot of fun and enjoyed it as well as raising money for a good cause.

Daffodil Tea preparations

This week we started preparing for our Daffodil Tea with the Primary 4s.  We practised our little  show about Marie Curie and made lots of things to sell for the Marie Curie charity.

Primary 4 decorated plant pots and we made sweetie butterflies as well as cards. We have enjoyed painting daffodils and making hyacinth flowers – although they were tricky at first!

We had help with our teacher Mrs Connick [our teacher] and Miss Reid the P4 teacher.

Our favourite bit was practising our songs.

Class Trip

On Thursday 26th of May our class walked to a charity called Cosgrove Care which is in Shawlands.
We went because we are learning about charities. We were allowed to bring something from home to donate to the charity. We had to walk all the way to Cosgrove Care and back. When we got there everyone got to price one item which they brought. We stuck a label with the price on it. I put a label on a dress and Abigail put a label on a pack of pencils. At the end of our visit we all got to choose a free toy. I got Top Trumps and Shakira got a small book. Then unfortunately we had walk back to school but by the time we got there it was home time!
