Please note the following dates for parental engagement events during Term 1:

 

• Friday August 30^th-    P1-5 Parent Coffee Morning

 

From 9.15-10.15 Get in out the howling wind and join Mr McDonald and Miss Shaw for something warm (and maybe a biscuit as well).

 

• Wednesday September 4^th– Parent Open Evening and Parental Engagement Meeting

 

4.30-5.30 Our classrooms will be open for parents/ carers to drop in and have an informal chat with teachers and find out about learning and key routines within the class.

5.15-5.45 Mr McDonald will host a meeting to discuss the setting up of our Parent Council and gather suggestions from parents about the different ways they wish to get involved in the life of the school community.

 Friday September 20th – Nursery Parent Coffee Morning

Come and Join Mr McDonald, Miss Bannerman and Miss Shaw for a ‘wee cuppa and a blether’ from 9.15 – 10.15.

• Tuesday September 24^th–  ‘Learn With Us’ afternoon

 

2.00- 2.45  Join your child/ children in class- who knows what you might learn?

 

• Friday October 4^th– Primary 2 and 3 Assembly

 

11.00 Parents/ carers of children in Primary 2 and 3 are welcome to join us as their children take the lead in our assembly.
