We had so much fun at our Christmas party.
We played pass the parcel.
Emily won!
There was lots of fun and dancing. It was a hard choice but Jamie won best dance moves.
Santa even came to visit us and gave us a gift!

As part of the Inter House Day Technology Challenge, P1 were given the following Design Brief:
Santa’s elves need help to design a toy from recycled Junk material.
Design Criteria:
The toy must stand up
The toy should look like a real toy
In house teams we made cars, castles, robots and reindeer!
We even had a special assembly this afternoon to look at all of our models 🙂
Hello,
Could we please ask that if possible you send your child to school in a polo shirt with no tie over the next two days (Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th) as this will make it easier when getting changed into our costumes! 🙂
Thanks
Miss Cowper and Miss Kidson

Yesterday all of our class received a Bookbug bag containing three books and activities.
Miss Cowper read ‘Sophie Johnson: unicorn expert’ to us. It was a super story.
We then completed different activities. Some of us were illustrators and drew a new front cover page.
Some of us drew a picture of the main character Sophie.
We also made puppets so that we could retell the story.
Some of our grown ups and P7 buddies came to visit us too. It was a super afternoon!
We have had a little reshuffle of our blog – hopefully it will be a bit easier to navigate now!
All homework tasks will now be posted in the ‘Homework’ tab at the top of our blog page. The sounds and common words of each week will also be posted under this tab for you to find.
Hopefully this helps 🙂
