Maths

P3a2 have been working hard on multiplying and recalling our times table facts quickly. We have been using arrays as a strategy for multiplication. You can practise these at home using materials like counters, buttons or pasta as well as drawing them out on a piece of paper.

Remember to come to school in your outdoor PE kit tomorrow for Sport Relief 😄

Healthy Eating

Thank you so much for sending in all the different food labels. We spent the afternoon finishing and peer assessing our lunch box designs, see the video, Isla made very healthy choices! We learned how to read a food label and then made choices of how often we should eat each food. Finishing off with a good rock song all about the different food groups.

Capacity

We have been learning about capacity this week. We know how to estimate and then measure in ml and l. We can place containers in order of their capacity and we understand full, half full and a quarter full. Lots of water fun!

P3A.1 healthy eating – Wednesday 11th March

We will be looking at nutritional food labels on Wednesday, if possible, it would be great to have a real variety of labels. Please if convenient cut out a label to bring in and share with the class, it can be from any food. Many Thanks, Mrs K.

Lovely visit from Rev. Boag today

We enjoyed learning about how babies are welcomed into the Christian faith.  If any of our children were welcomed at a special religious or non-religious ceremony we would love to see any photos of this and perhaps they could explain what happened to welcome them.

Thank you for coming to our assembly today. We had a fantastic party this afternoon to celebrate! Well done to Max’s mum who won the competition. Your prize is in Max’s bag…enjoy.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

P3A Teachers
