Wow! You have all been working so hard this morning already #superproud! In case anyone couldn’t get a hold of a copy of Fantastic Mr Fox or you fancy listening to it instead Audible are doing a free 30 day trial which gives you loads of children’s books and Mr Fox is on there. We will have some questions on this tomorrow :-).

Monday 23rd March

All activities are on SeeSaw where you can annotate over pictures or take a snap of work you have done on paper at home.

Please remember there is no pressure to complete everything. Just do what you can 🙂

As our 80’s topic is finished we have sent all your memorabilia home. We still have this comic which we are keen to match up with its owner. If it belongs to you please let us know so we can send it home 😄

Thank you so much to everyone that logged in last night to Glow and SeeSaw. I had four with issues that I hope I have resolved. Miss Carrick will be in tomorrow and can pick up any issues that arise tonight. If you have not tried to log in could you please try ASAP.

We have also received login details for education city this afternoon.  Your child has this in their bag on a sticky label.  This is another super website/app which can be used both at school and at home.

P.s for reassurance here are some pics your lovely children took while we sorted out some passwords, lots of smiles 😊.

P3a2 have been testing what materials are soluble and which are insoluble. We have also been using our teamwork skills and have been very creative with the Kapla 😊

The children were sent home with a note on Friday with their Glow login details to check as we have reset all passwords. They were also sent home with new login details for a fantastic app (can also be used as a normal website too) called SeeSaw. Could you please check that you can access these and if there are any problems let us know asap and we will try our best to resolve any issues swiftly.  **Edit** I have put an activity on SeeSaw and showed it to the pupils. Could they please complete that tonight if they can login, thanks.

 

Class novel (P3a1 and P3a2) – as you know we read George’s Marvellous Medicine at the start of the year. The next novel we would like to read is Fantastic Mr Fox. We are going to be doing some work in class and at home with this novel. Please let us know by Friday if you are able to source a copy of your own as we have a limited number of them in school.

Pupils in P3a2 have now been given a card with their username and password for their Seesaw account. (P3a1 you got this on Friday).

Seesaw can be downloaded as an app on or you can use it on any internet browser on a tablet/laptop. Seesaw facilitates the teacher setting a piece of work for pupils to post their response to the task.

To test this out we will post a very short activity for pupils to complete at home. If you have any issues with logging in then please let us know.
