Clyde in the Classroom

Hello!

We would like to share some of our Science progress with you.

Sophie and Cade had the important job last week of releasing the eggs into their new home!

After an amazing trip to the Science Centre P5b have been working hard to keep our Brown Trout eggs in perfect growing conditions. Pupils rotate around our 3 important jobs: checking temperature, pump/water level and checking for healthy eggs. We do this 4 times a day! On Tuesday 2 of our fish eggs hatched into Alevin. They are doing well by feeding themselves through their protein filled yolk sacs. We can’t wait to see more hatching next week, wish us luck!

See if you can spot our two little Alevins in the picture below!
