P2B have had a busy week with lots of new learning such as about Burns day and healthy eating!

We’ve been keeping up with and practising our reading and writing skills in Literacy!

We stretched and did poses in yoga!

We made our own eat well plates to show all the different foods we need to have!

We also spent time learning about Robert Burns and Scotland by making our own tartan, trying oatcakes and tasty shortbread!

P2B have had another fun filled week with lots of new learning!

We were able to have some lovely fresh air in the garden where we enjoyed digging, making water structures and making ships

We have been learning a little about Scotland and what it means to be Scottish., so thought we would try some Scottish dancing!

We also did some art and made mosaic Scottish flags!

We have also started learning about the Ice Age! We made some glaciers below, which we found out form during Ice Ages!

P2b have had  a half week full of of learning and fun!

We tried to stay active when it was too icy to go out for P.E. and woodlands. Instead we did Just Dance and Cosmic Yoga – P2B were amazing at it!

We enjoyed going out and playing  in the snow!

P2B have been very busy as they first performed their Nativity at the beginning of the week infront of their grownups and then had a fun filled Christmas party at the end! In between P2B have been completing Christmas crafts and activities!

P2B created their own finger painted snowmen

 

We took part in some festive Yoga!

We decorated  our own wooden baubles!

We also created a melted snowman with a tealight, paper and glitter!

 

Finally P2B enjoyed their Christmas party where they had snacks, played lots of games and won prizes!

Overall, P2B had a fun filled week with many Christmas activities! Have a lovely weekend and Happy Holidays everyone!

 

This week the pupils were learning all about Road Safety and how to be safe when walking across the road as well as how to be safe in a car.

The P6s came into class to do a Road safety Quiz!

We also went out to the cycle lane to discuss and practice how to walk across the road,  who to walk with and what to look out for!

P2B have has a busy week learning and having fun!

Since it is anti-bullying week P6 came into the class to talk about kindness and helped P2 create a heart of kindness for someone

We enjoyed going out into the garden for some fresh air!

We played some word bingo, guess the word cup and spell using the word mat activities during Literacy!

And analysed our hands under UV light to see how good our hand washing had been with some glitter potion!

P2B have had a busy week doing lots of book week activities!

We read the story of The Three Little pigs and then sequenced the story!

We have been creating our own books in our writing area!

 

We had a reading scavenger hunt where we had to look through books to find our clues!

We also had random 10 minutes of reading time, where we picked any book we wanted to read!

We also read the Rocketmole as a class and had a go at making our very own catapult!

We were practising our letter shapes in P.E as well outside in the muga

We made poppies for Remembrance Day!

And everyday we have been doing our DLL (Daily Literacy Learning) where we read books, do word  games, practise our writing fluency and much more!

P2b have had another busy week with lots of learning and many activities!

We went out to woodlands and enjoyed the autumn weather!

We enjoyed practising  our shapes in P.E

We have been learning about Diwali and made beautiful diya lamps and rangoli on paper plates!

We also learnt all about Guy Fawkes and made our very own sparklers!

P2b have a fun filled week of learning!

We have been furthering our skills in subtracting for Maths, practising our sounds in Literacy and doing some Halloween activities!

We have been making Halloween pictures such as pumpkins, bats and witches cats!

We made blood slime to further our understanding about its components in our human body topic.

We created scary haunted mansions with paints, chalks and paper!

We also enjoyed some apple bobbing!

And finally had a fun science experiments with the pumpkins!!
