P2B have had an exciting week full of learning and doing different activities! Take a look below…

We enjoyed building dens and structures in Woodlands…

 

We enjoyed practising our catching and hitting with a bat in P.E.

 

We loved watching chicks hatch and then made our very own incubators!

We also practised note taking when learning about minibeasts!

We also enjoyed listening to P7 read us their fantastic stories that they made themselves!

P2B have had an amazing time this week doing many different activities in Maths, Literacy and in Topic! Take a look below…

P2B started by building towers and making them stable

 

We enjoyed playing some Maths games

 

We went outside to Woodlands and made a den, built a fire, made a bug house and many more things!

We enjoyed creating our own magic gloves and discussed what made them magical!

We then made books, posters and 3d things to show all of our learning about Scotland! We then presented them to the class!

P2b have had a busy week with a lots of World Book Day activities! We made sure to still have a lot of fun learning about other things too!

We had fun first designing  a structure and then constructing it with lego!

We had a lot of fun in the fresh air outside where we did a lot of different imaginative play:

We also did a lot of different reading activities, to engage us and help us enjoy reading just a little more!

We listened to a short reading of Matilda:

We acted out our favourite scene from a book:

We also got to enjoy a reading picnic where we enjoyed a snack and drink while Miss Haque read out a story we picked as a class together!

We tried some addition decoding, to help us combine maths and reading together!

We even had a favourite book show and tell!

We then used our favourite books (brought form home or picked from the library) to be an illustrator and make a whole new front cover!
