There will be an assembly on Wednesday when the children will present their favourite book and discuss why they liked it/ if they would recommend it etc- please send in their favourite book along with the reading challenge booklet on Tuesday. Although this is short notice, the children are already very aware of this as we have been talking about it in class and they should have been reading lots of books over the last few months.

Rag Bag Collection

The ‘Rag Bag’ recycling scheme has been developed to provide regular fundraising for schools in Scotland.

The scheme increases awareness about textile recycling and by increasing recycling rates we can help the environment by ensuring less material goes to landfill.

Help raise funds for the school with textile recycling.

Items we collect

  • Wearable clothing
  • Paired shoes
  • Handbags
  • Belts

Please return bags to school by Monday 17th February. You can bring in bags before this date.

Thank you for your support!
