School and ELCC will be closed on Thursday 8 June as the school is being used as a polling station for the General Election.
Reminder- School and ELCC will be closed on Friday 26th May and Monday 29th May for May Holiday and on Tuesday 30th May (in-service day). School will re open on Wednesday 31st May.

We have had confirmation that the school will be used as a polling station for the general election on June 8th. The school and ELCC will be closed to all pupils on this day.
ALL STARS CRICKET CLUB P1-P4
Active Schools in partnership with East Renfrewshire Cricket Club are offering all P1-4 children across East Renfrewshire primary schools the opportunity to participate in the National ‘ALLSTARS CRICKET PROGRAMME’. This is starting on Tuesday 23rd May at Woodfarm Cricket Pitches from 5-6pm.
It will run for 8 weeks and parents will need to register their children online to book their place as places are limited.

Glow Users can now download for free the Microsoft Office 2016 apps on up to 15 personal devices; up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets (Windows, iPad and Android) and 5 phones. Making these apps available helps Glow users take full advantage of the opportunities these tools offer. The Office apps which include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote provide a learning platform that extends beyond school and into the world of work.
To download the Office 2016 apps, log in to Glow and either click on the ‘Download Office Now’ tile or go to the ‘Office 365 Home’ tile and once in Office 365, click on “Install Office 2016” at the top right of the page. Find out more here.
New coding club for children ages 9- 11
Thornliebank Library are offering a new computer coding club, running on a Saturday morning from 10:30 – 11:30. It is free of charge, and begins on 13th May for 6 weeks.
Places are extremely limited, so if you would like to book a place for your child, please contact Alan at the library on 0141 577 4983, as soon as possible.
