Physics & Engineering Clubs Queensferry Crossing Visit
Pupils form the Physics and Engineering clubs visited the Education Centre at the construction site of the Queensferry Crossing on Wednesday (18th May). Elaine Barrie, a civil engineer with FCBC (Forth Bridges Construction Consortium) led the pupils through some bridge building related activities and gave a presentation on the methods used to construct the new bridge. Pupils had an enjoyable and informative afternoon in the control centre which has stunning views of all 3 crossings over the Forth.
