Renfrewshire Area Heats – Friday 2nd November 2018
VENUE: ON- X SPORTS CENTRE; LINWOOD
WARM UP: 6.30pm
Heats are open to all pupils attending school in Inverclyde, Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire who were born in or after 2007.Heats will be swum as combined ages and sexes, with results separated into the appropriate age groups. (as determined by age as at 31 Dec 2019). Presentations will be awarded to the fastest 3 swimmers in each age group. From the top performances in each age group, 3 swimmers’ names will be submitted for consideration for the SCOTTISH SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS, (provided they have met the qualifying time), to be held in January 2019 (exact date & venue tbc).
A swimmer may enter a maximum of 2 individual events which will be swum in the following order:

| 50m Backstroke |
| 50m Breaststroke |
| 50m Butterfly |
Please note: each race entered will cost £5.
Swimmers should consider the order of events when entering swims to allow optimum performance.
It must be stressed that qualifying times are of a high standard and we will only be able to refer a few swimmers. For this reason, it is very important that qualifying times given to the school are accurate.
