As you know, this is a very important year in the Sacramental life of your child.  During this session, the children will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of First Communion.
Our school population is divided between the Archdiocese of Glasgow and the Diocese of Paisley.  Each Diocese has a different timescale for the reception of the Sacraments and at present the school community follows the Paisley programme.First Reconciliation in Lent of P4

Confirmation in P7
This will be the pattern followed by St. Joseph’s Clarkston.
St. Vincent de Paul’s Thornliebank, will follow the same pattern as St. Joseph’s.  Please contact Father Hill for further information.

St. Gabriel’s Parish follows the Glasgow programme.  Please contact Father Woodford for further information.
Traditionally the Sacraments are received in your child’s home parish.  Any changes to this arrangement should be discussed with your Parish Priest.
