Weather Update

All schools and nurseries will be open as  tomorrow (Monday). Our janitors and roads teams have worked hard to clear car parks and pavements near schools as much as possible. But with cold weather forecast overnight remember to take care when travelling.

School Closure

Isobel Mair School is closed again today, this is due to the severe weather that we are experiencing at the moment. We will continue to update parents and carers with any other significant events regarding the weather.

We will rearrange World Book Day on our return to school.
We look forward to welcoming you back once the weather is back to normal, and urge you to stay safe.

Please keep checking for updates on website and twitter feed.

World Book Day 2018

World Book Day is fast approaching!

Exciting events have been planned for school and our usual dressing up and assembly will be on 1st March the official World Book Day.

Could you please send in any pictures of your child taking part in any literacy experiences, this could be library visits, reading with family member, or even the most creative and different place to read a story. This will allow us to add them to a slideshow to be shown at our assembly.

Photographs to be sent into school by Wednesday 28th February.

Thank you for supporting WBD 2018.

IMS #OneUseIsNoUse Re-useable mug.

Pupils from Isobel Mair School and Isobel Mair Family Centre have been asked to design a logo for an IMS #OneUseIsNoUse Re-useable mug.

Winning entries will be made into re-useable mugs that will be for sale from IMS eco enterprise committee very soon!

We hope that the local community will support the cause and purchase a re-useable IMS mug for use in @Waitrose beside the school, and spread the message that #OneUseIsNoUse #PlasticIsNoLongerFantastic
#saynotosingleuseplastic

Snow much fun!

Class Arran brought the outdoors Indoors as part of their 50 things to do before you leave IMS.

They had great fun exploring the sensory properties of snow and made tiny snowman.

Jasmine, our bilingual support worker judged the competition and declared that peter Brown was the winner, well done Peter.
