Senior pupils who attend Grow Cook and Eat at West College Scotland as part of Skills for Lifelong Learning, made some delicious chocolate fudge cake last week.
Have a look at the photos below as they follow the recipe and use a variety of skills to make their cake.
Exciting events have been planned for school and our usual dressing up and assembly will be on 1st March the official World Book Day.
Could you please send in any pictures of your child taking part in any literacy experiences, this could be library visits, reading with family member, or even the most creative and different place to read a story. This will allow us to add them to a slideshow to be shown at our assembly.
Photographs to be sent into school by Wednesday 28th February.

Class Harris have been learning about China and Chinese New Year. They have even learned how to write 1-10 in Chinese.

They were so excited to interview some of the students we had in school from Strathclyde University.

A bag will be sent home via school bags.
You can send in good quality clean and dry clothing, paired shoes, handbags, ties, belts, hats etc.

Pupils from Isobel Mair School and Isobel Mair Family Centre have been asked to design a logo for an IMS #OneUseIsNoUse Re-useable mug.
Winning entries will be made into re-useable mugs that will be for sale from IMS eco enterprise committee very soon!
We hope that the local community will support the cause and purchase a re-useable IMS mug for use in @Waitrose beside the school, and spread the message that #OneUseIsNoUse #PlasticIsNoLongerFantastic

We are having a Burns/Scottish afternoon on Thursday 8th February, 1:15pm.
We are excited to have pupils from Mearns Castle High School folk band join us and play some Scottish music, accompanying our pupils in singing and dancing.
Pupils can wear some tartan or bring tartan into school to wear for our Scottish afternoon.
This event is for pupils only.

On the 28th of Feb Café Kingdom (seniors enterprise company) will be selling breakfast rolls and yogurt.
Order forms will be sent home soon for pupils to pre order.
William, our Head Boy made his 1st Yammer post today, sharing information about the upcoming senior enterprise project.
