What we have been learning this week
Maths
Some of us have been learning our times tables. We have been listening to songs to help us remember them and to improve our recall.
Others have been learning about ancient number systems. This was a lot of fun and we were able to make one up for ourselves. It was a challenge but we got there in the end.
In addition to this we have been leaning about rounding number and fact families.
A busy week for P4b.
Language
This week we have been learning to answer literal questions. We have also been looking at the important parts of a question and how to answer it correctly.
We have also been writing our own Bedtime Story.
Topic
we have been introduced to our new topic – Scottish Cities and Famous Scots.
We will be learning about Scotland and its heritage and we have chosen two cities to study – Glasgow and Edinburgh. We will also be learning about famous Scots. We are very excited!
