Starting September

In our classroom we have a targets board where we record our work. If you finish your literacy you put a blue token. When you finish your maths you put a yellow token. A red token is Italy or handwriting. A green is Italy.

As a class we decided to work on Italy for mearns masters. Then we chose what skills we wanted to work on.

We also created a class charter.

As a class we used post-it notes to make a SHANARRI wheel and some of us created starburst art.

In our first cooking lesson we made a starter bruschetta. Skills we used were: chopping and decorating. We also baked, measured and dipping.

Then we drew a famous Italian landmarks and wrote facts about it.

We made tomato pasta in our little groups and some of us took it out for break. Some of the skills that we used were: Chopping, Seasoning, Boiling, and heating. Other skills include, sautéing for a little spice.

One afternoon we made our landmarks that we drew out of clay.

The next thing that we cooked in the kitchen was cheesy pasta which was delicious. The skills we used were: grating, heating, boiling and seasoning. We also used some independence to add the pepper

This week we made cannoli cones. The cannoli cone skills were: melting, measuring, decorating and assembling.

We have also painted our clay models.

As you can see 6.23 have been getting up to lots of fun things this September.
