Curriculum Event – Book your spot

Rachael

Hi everyone, my name is Rachael and I am the Senior Early Years Worker here at Colquhoun Park EYC. I have worked at Colquhoun since 2019, starting off as a practitioner. Over this time I have worked alongside the best staff team, children and families and I am grateful to work in a place I can call a home from home.
I absolutely relish in having the opportunity to watch our little learners grow and develop and being a part of it is an absolute joy. I love the power of storytelling, it is my favourite thing to take part in and seeing first-hand the children’s imagination coming to life is truly rewarding. The sheer enjoyment and curiosity that comes from it is amazing.
I have carried out the role of Family champion for a number of years and currently oversee Family engagement. I love to plan experiences that bring everyone together and it is a privilege to be a part of early childhood memories. I always strive to improve in this area, so feel free to highlight any recommendations for future events and to let us know how we are doing!

FAMILY EVENT CALENDAR 2025 (Aug-Dec)

At Colquhoun Park EYC we recognise the importance of working together with our families to create the best possible outcomes for our little learners.

Whilst we encourage parental input and involvement all year round, we equally respect that life is busy and its not always possible to drop in to centre or to stand and catch up with keyworkers and drop off or collection times.

We try to make getting involved and keeping up to date with centre life as easy as possible by using varied means of communication such as email, social media, learning journals, blogs, learning walls etc.

Below we have listed some dates we plan to host events or where things in centre are happening which we may need your support in or we would just like to invite you along to take part – please remember there is no pressure on any of our families to attend events, we are simply creating opportunity for you to do so.
