Carol

Hello. My name is Carol and I am a Teacher in the Early Years Centre.

I have been a Nursery Teacher working in local authority nurseries for over 25 years. I gained my position at Colquhoun Park in 2009 and have enjoyed working here very much.

The Nursery has been through a great deal of change during this time and my role now is quite different from before. I now focus on the development of children’s literacy and numeracy skills where I provide a wide range of experiences and activities to support their learning in these areas.

Rebecca O

Hi. My name is Rebecca. I am and Early Years worker here at Colquhoun Park Early Years Centre.

I joined Colquhoun Park in August 2020 and over that time, I have enjoyed working with and getting to know all the children and their families.

When in centre I love spending time with the boys and girls and working with them and I enjoy providing fun, quality learning experiences in all areas of the curriculum for them to participate in.

I also implement Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) focused activities indoors and outdoors as STEM is my leadership role within the Nursery.

The most rewarding thing about working in Early Years is seeing children progress and achieve due to their nursery and early level experiences.

Rebecca M

Hi. My name is Rebecca and I’m and Early Years Worker at Colquhoun.

I have been working at Colquhoun Park Early Years Centre since 2019, during this time I have been lucky enough to work with lots of lovely children and families.

One of my roles here is to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) throughout the centre. I do this by offering lots of exciting activities and ideas for the children to explore and learn from.

My favourite part of being an Early Years Worker is spending time with the children, exploring lots of fun learning experiences the support them as they develop and grow.
