Drama – English – Art – Music
DREAM is an IDL collective by the Creative Arts and English departments. The pilot project entitled ‘Escape from Azkaban‘ was launched in session 2018/19 for our S1 pupils to highlight the connections and transferable skills between subjects in the world of work. Due to the success of the S1 project it was subsequently followed up in S2 with the theme of “Protest! Change the World!” with both projects embedded as units in to the S1/2 curriculum.

What’s involved?
- Miniature sets are designed and constructed in art
- camera angles and filming techniques dissected in media studies
- storyboards and scripts created in Drama
- and thematic music and sounds effects recorded in Music
Pupils are challenged to win a place in one of the four Hogwarts House teams, collectively pulling their creations from each subject to produce a final two-minute stop motion animation film.
