P1/2/3 – Feedback Friday

Well boys and girls we have made it to Friday AGAIN! Can I just say how proud I am of you all – you really are Sorn Superstars!🌟 You are doing so well and I absolutely love getting to see you all each week during our live sessions. Take a look at what we have been up to this week in P1/2/3 😁

Miss Weir’s Walk of the Week

I have been trying to stay very active and go out lots of walks and runs this week. Today on my daily walk I found this in the park. It is a wishing tree. You write your wish on a ribbon and wait for it to come true 🤩 How lovely is that! I think I’ll need to take some ribbon with me for the next time.

I have also seen lots of animals while being out! I hope these pictures make you smile 😊

Take time over the weekend to relax you all DESERVE it 🥰

Have a great weekend everyone!

P1/2/3 – Daily Check In

Good morning boys and girls I hope you are all well today 🙂

For our daily check in going forward, could I ask that you please fill out the form below with your name and how you are feeling. The form will be posted each day for you to complete 😀 You can also reply to this post if you would like to share something with me!

I am feeling super tired today as I had a very busy day yesterday!

Have a great day everyone 🙂

P1/2/3 – Active Literacy

Hello everyone 🙂

Our Active Literacy programme is an important element of our school day and now within home learning. We want to make it as straight forward as possible for the children to continue with their learning and therefore I have attached 2 documents which can be easily printed off and used each day for the AL input. One document contains all initial sounds (a-z) and the other includes the joined phonemes in which the children are currently learning.

AL – Initial Sounds        AL – Joined Phonemes

I hope you find these useful 🙂

P1/2/3 – Monday again!

Good morning Primary 1/2/3, I hope you all had a well deserved rest and a lovely weekend 🙂 I would love to hear what you got up to and how you are feeling today. I went a few big long walks over the weekend and enjoyed a movie night. I am feeling super refreshed today and ready for a brand new week!

Your learning grids have been posted for this week, please let me know if you need any help with anything. Remember to try to email me your work and activities – I love seeing how you’re all getting on!

Remember – recitals of poems and Scottish artwork must be emailed to me by Thursday 28th January.

Quote of the week –

You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

Dr Seuss

Have a fantastic week everyone! 😀
