Calin is off on an exciting new adventure as he starts at his new school soon. He will be missed but not to worry as he promised he’ll be back for a visit!
Primary 5T had a great time today as they made some kind crafts and messages to share with Calin. They also had the chance to say their goodbyes and have ANOTHER PARTY!
Below are pictures from their first day in P5 together and his last day.
Primary 5T got to hear the last of the castle presentations this afternoon and were then given the opportunity to rotate around the other classes to see their finished products.Β As you can see,Β a fantastic effort was made from all of the children. Now to find some space to display them all…
Thank you for supplying materials and supporting your child in producing super models, it is greatly appreciated. A huge well done to all involved!
Also, we managed to post our castles and shields onto our own individual glow blogs, please check them out and watch out for more posts coming soon!
Today we finally heard all presentations and had a chance to see all 25 castles. What a successful homework project this turned out to be.Β Each and every castle had at least one element that stood out from the rest, Β making the decision to chooseΒ 3 Β winners really hard. In fact, so hard, I asked Mrs Findlay to do the honours.
I hope you enjoy looking at the efforts of all P5iΒ children, and again, accept my thanks for supportingΒ your child to complete their task and Β to be such successful learners. Well done one and all.
Many congratulations to Kye, Megan and Lyle for your super castles. You made Mrs Findlay’s job even harder.
Primary 5T had a great time today going around the school searching for clues. Each one led to a new room where there was information about different rooms inside a castle. For example, the dining hall told the children about the Great Hall in a castle where banquets would take place. They were successful in finding them all, well done!
Also, we joined up with Primary 5K this afternoon to learn how to setup our target pages and create posts which include media. Watch out over the coming weeks as the children continue to explore Glow blogs and post with Mrs McPhail!
Today half of the class presented their castles to their peers and we can hardly wait to see the the other half and hear their presentations.
Thank you to all parents who sourced materials and supported their child to produce their works of art.Β Photos will be posted at the end of the week – and you’ll be impressed.
Primary 5T previously designed a Coat of Arm and have now made them into a shield. Each shield includes a flag, an illuminated letter for their surname and an animal and pattern that represent different qualities. The children have worked hard and as you can see they have done a fantastic job! Well done to all π
Everyone at Onthank Primary will miss Kal lots as he starts an exciting new adventure at his new school on Monday. Primary 5T will especially miss him, his big smile and great sense of humour.
The class had a great time today as they wrote some kind letters toΒ Kal and shared some fun memories. They also got the chance to sign his jumper and have a PARTY!
Good luck Kal π
