P5 Scottish Opera

We have started rehearsals for our Scottish Opera 1719 show.  We have a workshop next week with Scottish Opera staff to help us prepare for the performance on Friday 17 May at 2:15 pm (tea and coffee from 1:45 pm).  We hope you can come and watch us at our afternoon performance.

To help us learn the songs, pupils can listen and sing along to the tracks at home using the following link.

Hair today. Gone tomorrow.

Cerys from P5i did something many young girls wouldn’t dream of:

Had  inches cut off her glowing locks!

Cerys had 9 inches (23cms) chopped off her hair all in aid of charity, The Little Princess Trust, and raised over £400.

Very well done Cerys.

And don’t you look good with your munchy bunchies!

P5i calm before the show

This morning, all children were a touch nervous before their big show,  so calming lessons were the order of the day. What better than some active spelling in pairs,  creating  words then checking each other’s work.

And did this help the pupils?  You bet it did!

Once on stage,  they performed like true  professionals: cool,  calm, slick and word perfect. They did themselves,  and us all proud.

P5i, I told you,  you would be incredible! And you were.

What a show! Well done to all P1-7s and absolutely everyone involved in making the whole day such a success for pupils, parents staff …
