1st February, we had fun in the snow.  Today, 28th February, we had fun in the sun during Fit Fifteen

• Sometimes children just want to sit down and complete work from a textbook. Many enjoy the challenge of completing the questions on their own and thinking for themselves. Here our class are doing just that. In contrast, they also like outdoor pursuits and here they are having fun in the sun – and snow.

Learning is all about engagement and P5i are certainly that.

As a class we have looked at the science of sound. As part of our decade topic we had an input on the history of the telephone. So far we’ve created our own cup phones and megaphones which has helped us explore how sound moves. Even though the weather was freezing, we managed outside to use our megaphones.  P5M doesn’t believe in that old proverb “Children should be seen and not heard!”
