What  an enjoyable visit this morning to the newly revamped Dick Institute. (We can highly recommend a visit.)  We were sorry to have missed viewing the Michael Morpurgo exhibition, more so because we are studying one of his novels, The Butterfly Lion. Maybe you could manage a family visit before it finishes.

And what about our visit today?  We met the author David MacPhail who was promoting his new book,  White Feather,  whilst regaling us with stories about being an author alongside his mum Catherine . The children were great listeners and put some really interesting questions to David.
