PATHS Lesson Emotion Story
We have been very busy this week with our Forces and Friction topic as well as looking at numbers for Maths week. We also enjoyed being creative with our spelling words and using our bodies to make letter shapes.
Here is a small snapshot of what we have been up to.
We will be posting information and photos on our blog so you can keep up to date with activities in P6!
As a result of ‘No Pens Day Wednesday’ we decided to present what we have learned this year in a dramatic news report. We were lucky enough to be joined by Mr Marrone and Primary 4 from Saint Andrews Primary School in Greenock. We worked so hard rehearsing and everyone should be super proud of themselves! Our guests were extremely impressed and enjoyed asking and answering some great questions.
Keep an eye out for another interactive video call with Mr Marrone and Primary 4 as we promised to fill them in with how our class novel (Wonder) finishes.
Well done to all the children involved from Mr Marrone and I. The hard work was clear to see from the hosts, presenters, stage director, prop manager and everyone else that helped throughout the afternoon.
Have a great weekend!
Last week we created some autumnal finger paintings. We discussed which words we would link closely to Autumn and then created some terrific artwork from this.
As part of our term two novel study (Wonder by RJ Palacio) we came across precepts. Today we explored what a precept is and discussed some examples. We really enjoyed creating our own and sharing them with our peers.
As usual, we began our Friday with a very interesting debate. This weeks discussion point was ‘video games should be banned’. We had great points from both points of view and it was amazing to sit back and watch. Well done Primary 6😀.
