ECC Learning Week Commencing 18.5.26-22.5.26

I n d o o r s –

This week due to the continued interest in animals particularly farm animals, we created a farm shop which the children have enjoyed exploring in. Some children have been able to take on the role of a sales assistant and exploring the concept of money. We will continue to explore this next week to deepen children’s knowledge.

This week the children have been exploring our herbs within the garden and have been adding these to create their own recipes in the mud kitchen. The children then began adding spices into their recipes and we have created a spice rack using wood and tools for our mud kitchen.
The children have enjoyed building upon their gross motor skills outdoors whilst using the bikes and scooters. Sharing and turn taking was evident throughout and the children created their own road to cycle along.
Firepit Brunch🪵🍞🌳
Thank you to our parents/carers for attending our firepit brunch where the children further explored their sense of risk taking and safety skills. The children showed a great understanding of keeping themselves safe and listened well to the instructions given, keeping a safe distance and staying in the respect position. We reflected on time spent at the woods. Well done for taking part in Woodland Wednesday over the last year!🌳⭐️ We have three more weeks of our firepit brunch left if you wish to sign up!
