Home Learning 11.2.21

Don’t forget our virtual classroom at 11am today. A little check in, some more practise with subtraction and to provide any help with your tasks for today. Keep sending in all your great work!

HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Please complete our Daily Feelings Questionnaire as soon as you can every day; it only takes a couple of minutes. This allows us to put all your lovely comments together and send them to our Pupil of the Day. If you are our chosen pupil, make sure to say something nice about yourself and ask someone to send us a photo of you for your certificate.

Your task today is to complete a black line drawing. You will need a blank piece of paper – you can use your jotter for this and your black writing pen. I would like you to draw everything that you have learnt about fractions. Look back at all your great work as a reminder.

Here is a few tips to get you started.

  • What is a fraction?
  • How do we show a fraction? In shapes? Numbers? Number line?
  • What are the special names of numbers in a fraction?
  • Can you show 1/2, 1/4, 1/10
  • Can you fold shapes or food into equal parts?
  • What do you divide by to find 1/2, 1/4 or 1/10

Can’t wait to see all of your drawings.
