The Learning Outdoors Support Team have developed resource boxes for use in special schools and units, that can be borrowed for a term. These have a wide range of outdoor learning resources to compliment learning across the Curriculum for Excellence at early and first level focusing on supporting special needs pupils. These resources come with a set of lesson plan starters and some support for evidencing pupil achievements.
In the box, you will find activity ideas from a variety of partner organisations. Here are some example lessons which you could also carry out with the resources included in the box.
