Maths Trails

Maths trails are a fun and engaging way to use and learn maths skills outdoors. They can be used to learn new things, apply and enhance learning in different contexts and to make numeracy and maths learning relevant by linking it to real life and demonstrating maths in the world around us. On our website, we have collated both generic maths trails across the levels and specific trails for schools and towns that we have worked in. These can be easily adapted for different settings, levels and contexts and can be found here: https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/ea/learningoutdoorssupportteam/maths-trails/

Natalie’s video highlights some of the Maths that surround us in our outdoor spaces.
