I hope we are all keeping well? Has any of your sunflowers started peeking through the soil? I know some of them are! well done and keep up the good work. I am so proud of you all for being responsible and taking care of your plants.
I would like for you to get a bit active today.
In the ECC we practice lot’s of skill at gym and in the outdoors. Have you been practising skipping? It is a hard one, remember to change feet . What about some hopping? it takes a lot of balance to make it a better challenge maybe you could try balancing a a small potato or ball on a spoon – no cheating!!
Let me know how it goes. Have fun and remember sometimes if you find it difficult just have a small break and try again.
I have shared a link to Oxford Owls that has some fun interactive maths games for the children to try out. There is also pdf sheets that can be printed if you have access to a printer.

For today I thought we could do some counting and 1:1 correspondence. Your grown up could help by writing out some numbers on a piece of paper, you will need some objects to count. These could be pieces of Lego, Cheerios, cars or pebbles.
Remember to count out the objects and think about the number you need. If you get a little confused by counting too many objects then just start again from number 1.
Can you do up to number 10? Let me know how you get on.
I am also looking to hear of achievements the children are making at home..this can be clearing their toys, helping around the house, helping to bake or maybe they have putting on their own shoes. Whatever it may be please let us know.

Next think about your name and what the first sound is – I would look for things starting with ‘A’. I could have an apple or draw a picture of an alien.
