It’s not a very pleasant day out there today after all that lovely sunshine.  ☔☔

Today why not choose your favourite story book , find a comfy place , get cosy and cuddle up with your big people to read a story.   Talk about your favourite characters in the story and what happens throughout.  Did anything silly happen ?  Were any characters a little cheeky?

I miss reading you all stories at nursery and look forward to  being able to again soon.

One of my favourite stories to read is Room on the Broom .

As the weather has picked up again and its toasty hot I thought   you could make your own fans to help keep you cool.  Easy Peasy to make.

All you need is paper and anything you want to use to decorate.  We have made these before in nursery some of you boys and girls may remember how to make them☺

All you do is decorate your piece of paper how you would like to. Then fold little bits of the paper forward and then back on itself. 🖍🖌 open up when all folded and you have a fan shape. You can put a gold at the bottom to make a handle.

You can cut a paper plate on half and use a stick as a handle too. Lots of options.

If anyone struggles let me know and I will video me doing it to help you  🤗

Have lots of fun i  the sun and please remember to wear your suncream and Sun hat’s ☉ 😎

1. Good Morning Everyone 🤗

I thought  I would share something I enjoyed as a little girl.  You can do at home or out on your walks.

It’s Easy Peasy Surface Rubbings.

All you will need is paper, crayons or pencils and  that’s all. 🖍🖌🖍🖌

Find something you would like to make a print of.  A wall, fance , tree, leaves  or flowers for example. 🌳🍁🍂🌸🌼

Place your paper on them and use your crayon or pencil to rub over the top to see your picture. Has it any pattern ? You can do this as many times as you like and anywhere.

Have lots of fun and as always i love seeing your pictures🤗

As the weather seems to have became nice again i thought you’ll be out and about more often on walks and adventures😊..

Let’s make view finders. Easy and simple you can use what you have at home. Kitchen roll tubes to make a telescope or you can use  a box or even just paper. 🖍🖌

I have used a cereal box to make mine and then decorated it.

What will you find I wonder?😊

Try and look to see if you can see the trees or plants moving in the breeze. 🌳  Try and listen quietly can you hear the birds chirping?  My favourite when I’m out walking  is the birds  chirping and the sound of the river flowing 🐦

What sounds will you find?

Little examples of what I can see at home if you are not out and about. I found the trees in my street and ofcourse my little dog Stark.🐶   He likes to bark and play in the garden.

Good Morning  Everyone 🤗

I hope we are all enjoying the sunny weather and having lots of fun in your gardens.

Today or through the week I’d like you to have your looking eyes on and see if you can find any dandelion clocks.  They are all fluffy and you can blow them way. This was a game i loved when i was a little girl.

All you have to do is find a dandelion clock and see how many big puffs it takes you to blow away all the fluff on the flower.  And you can watch all the fluff fly away.

I’ve had a try and I got  5 o’clock.

I wonder what you will all get ?

Good Morning all my little people and their big people 🤗

Today and over the weekend i would like to see your creativity using simply Egg Boxes  and any type of colouring materials you have e.g. paint, pens , crayons.  🖍🖌

I am looking forward to seeing what you and all your big helpers come up with. I know you all have great imaginations.

Below i have gave some examples you can choose to create or have your own ideas.
