Numeracy activity

Good morning.

What numbers can you find in your home??

Start with number 1 and then you can move on to find other numbers. Grown ups could maybe write some numbers on piece on paper and hide around the home.

Let us know how you get on 😁

🌻 all children-simple game🌻

Good Morning  Everyone 🤗

I hope we are all enjoying the sunny weather and having lots of fun in your gardens.

Today or through the week I’d like you to have your looking eyes on and see if you can find any dandelion clocks.  They are all fluffy and you can blow them way. This was a game i loved when i was a little girl.

All you have to do is find a dandelion clock and see how many big puffs it takes you to blow away all the fluff on the flower.  And you can watch all the fluff fly away.

I’ve had a try and I got  5 o’clock.

I wonder what you will all get ?

Have lots of fun finding your dandelion clocks. I’d love to  see your pictures and videos.

Achievement Tree

In the ECC we promoted celebrating achievements that the children were making at home.  We did this on our Achievement Tree.

We want to continue with celebrating achievements – remember this can be riding your bike, putting on own shoes, jacket etc. or tidying up toys.

Please let us know any achievements your child has had at home and allow us to celebrate these with them.

We can’t wait to hear from you all.

Wednesday 22nd April

Good morning ❤️💙💚💛💜

I hope you are all well today 😊

We had some lovely weather yesterday but it was still a little windy!! I was hoping you could maybe do some junk modelling. Get some old cardboard, kitchen/toilet roll tubes, paper/plastic cups and lets see if you can make a wind anemometer to measure the wind today.

How fast is your wind anemometer going today is it spinning fast or slow??

Another lovely day today ☀️ Please remember your suncream.

Good morning ❤️💜💛💚💙

Hello boys and girls.

I have an art activity for you to do today whilst enjoying the lovely weather.

Making pictures using natural materials that you can find in the garden or on a walk.

Or why not paint some stones….

Please remember your sun hat and sun cream for today ☀️

Send me pictures of your creations.

Amanda

Tuesday 21st April

Good morning ☀️

Today has to be a lovely day so I hope that whether it be in the garden or out a walk, that you can enjoy the sunshine – remember your sun cream 😎 and stay safe!

For today’s task we have a counting one.

Once you count the windows at the front and the windows at the back can you try and add them together? Are there more windows at the front or the back?

Let us know how you get on.

Welcome Back!

Good morning everyone!!

Welcome back after the Easter Holidays.  We will be continuing with our Home Learning so please check in everyday for new ideas on activities that you can carry out at home.

We would like to see or hear what you have all been doing over the Easter Holidays, this can be by drawing or painting a picture? Or if your grown ups have any pictures that they have taken and would like to share we would love to see these.

We hope you all enjoyed our video post and please know that we are all thinking of you and missing you all.  If there is anything at all that we can help with or any concerns then please get in touch.
