Morning everyone. Mrs. Agnew and I loved that you were all practising your focused sound,” ee” and reading your assigned reading books yesterday. Keep up all that good work, learning all these skills and being super smart children. Today lookout for a story time (A story about a very famous monster)and a little relaxation through an art lesson. Remember practise makes perfect and permanent! Little and often with your activities and have plenty of time for outdoor play and fun. Thanks again parents for keeping us informed with the lovely pictures of all your exciting activities. These are the highlight of our day.

Primary 5 Scottish Poetry Competition
This year’s competition will be a little bit different. It will take place virtually on our TEAMS page. Our poem this year is called “A Dug, A Dug” and can be found on TEAMS in the Files section. P1 topic questions
Hi everyone.
For some reason – unknown to me – the topic image from our learning across the curriculum grid did not transfer through the school blog to the school app (even though it is showing in the blog page). So for your information I have attached this image here so that you can see the questions the children had asked about our topic “Space”. Unfortunately this forum does not give me the chance to turn the image the right way round! We will tackle a new question each week and it would be good to get the facts that you have learned in a wee email so that we can share them with everyone.

We have had a sneaky preview of some of the poems you have been learning and we have been amazed at how hardworking you all have been. Well done for all the hard work and great focus on learning last week. Below you will find the learning grids for all areas of learning for this week. Responding to feedback from parents, Mrs Forsyth will be posting a video with a little more information about the various activities available to you this week. So be watching out for that shortly. She will also be posting her phonics and spelling videos in the coming days. We hope that you are feeling good about the learning you are doing at home and as ever, we are here to help and support you. Please continue to send us your videos and photos as they make us smile. Mrs Greig’s Weekly Challenge
