Family engagement

At our Parents Night in March, we asked our parents/carers the BIG question …

  • what kind of school/class events would you like to be involved in?
  • what kind of events should we be organising?

All of the responses have been collated – please click on the link below to have a wee read through them.  Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer our question 🙂

May Home Circles @ 01.05.24

In our Home Circles on Wednesday we all focused on another article from the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child.

Article 31 states that ‘every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities, and focus on leisure, play and culture’.

In our Home Circles we had a big question to answer …

Why is it so important that the whole community of Catrine, people of all ages, join in with activities to help improve our village?

Take a look at our answers below.

Active Schools Questionnaire

Active Schools are carrying out a sport and physical activity consultation across East Ayrshire.

This is a good chance for you and your children to say what you already do, what you like to do and what the barriers are to participating in sport in the area.

If you could please spend 5 minutes with your child to fill in the survey that would be much appreciated! The survey can be accessed via this link:
