P1 Registration

Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2026 and 28 February 2027 and whose parents/carers wish them to attend school should be registered for education during the week Monday 12 January 2026 until Friday 16 January 2026.  To register you should complete an online application and submit no later than Friday 16 January 2026.  Register at: – https://www.east-ayrshire.gov.uk/schooladmissions

 

If you are unable to register online, then please phone your local school who will assist you to register your child.

Parent Council Pupil Lucky Dip

Congratulations to the winners of the Parent Council Lucky Dip.

All pupil names are entered into the draw and two names are drawn to win £25.00 of Smyths Toy Vouchers.

This year’s winners were Lyle P4 and Jalyn P7.

Well done and thanks to our wonderful Parent Council for their continued support of our school and pupils.

Whole School Trip Details

Thursday 18th December is our whole school trip to The Galleon Kilmarnock, to see Sleeping Beauty.

We will be leaving the school at 9.10am and will return at 12.45pm.

Please ensure your child arrives in school before 9.00am.

THERE WILL BE NO HOME LUNCHES THAT DAY.

WE WILL BE PROVIDING A SNACK AND A DRINK FOR ALL PUPILS.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A SNACK.

Looking forward to another fabulous whole school trip.

 

 

Home Circles @ December

In Home Circles we focused on Article 19 of the UNCRC which states that ‘children have the right to be protected from being hurt or badly treated’.

Our BIG questions were

  • What are the basic rights that every child, wherever they live, should have?
  • Whose job is it to keep children safe, both in school and in the community?

P6 & P7 Christmas Party

P6 & P7 Christmas Party – Wednesday 17th December

Pupils can come to school dressed in their party clothes, or bring them in a bag to change into before the party. If you wish your child to go home and change at lunchtime, please send in a note or complete the form below.  Please ensure your child has returned to the school via the main school gate at 12.55pm.

Christmas Hamper Raffle

Thank you to everyone that has been buying tickets for the Christmas Hamper.

We have been given two additional prizes to the draw; a Terrys Chocolate Orange Treat and a voucher for a Spa Treat.

Tickets can still be purchased up to the morning of Wednesday 17th December and the winners will be announced at the Christmas Service.
