As we have pupils with severe nut allergies, can all parents/carers ensure that pupils DO NOT bring in food for snacks/packed lunches that contain nuts or traces of nuts. The health and wellbeing of our pupils is a main priority, and we appreciate your support in keeping our children safe.
Please contact the school office for any further information.
Catrine PS is proud to be a School Streets area and to keep our pupils safe we have parking restrictions in place around our school streets at both drop-off and pick-up times.
Between 8.45-9.15am and 2.45-3.15pm the streets around our school should be free from all traffic, apart from residents, to ensure our pupils and wider school community can enter and leave our school safely.
We would appreciate your ongoing support in this matter.
Thank you to those who have completed and returned all the consent forms that are required at the start of a new school year.
There are a few pupils who have forms still to be returned.
Please return the annual data check and walk permission as soon as possible, and complete the link below for the photographic and computer consent. Thanks
Every week each class is timetabled for two PE sessions. Sometimes, if the weather permits, one of these sessions may be a walk around the village instead of indoor PE.
For indoor PE sessions, our pupils need to have a pair of shorts and a pair of trainers/gym shoes, that they can keep in school so that they’re always prepared for PE sessions. Please ensure all items are labelled with your child’s name.
Pupils also need to remove all jewellery before taking part in PE so please ensure earrings are removed, or that your child can remove their own earrings on PE days. It’s also preferable if long hair is tied back.
Thanks for your support with ensuring our pupils make the most of their timetabled PE sessions at school.
