P7 – S1: Transfer Form

Dear Parent/Carer

As you are no doubt aware, your child is due to transfer from primary to secondary education at the beginning of the new school session (August 2024).

Please complete the online P7 transfer application at http://eastayrshi.re/p7transfer no later than Wednesday 24 January 2024.

We have the final total that was raised at the Christmas Fayre

WOW we can’t thank you enough for your amazing support on the night and throughout the year.

Our P7s raised £63.00 towards their Leavers Hoodies & the Parent Council raised £564.05.

Thank you again from all at Catrine Primary School and The Parent Council.

 

Odeon Trip – Thursday 21st December

Just a reminder about the Odeon trip for tomorrow.

Please ensure your child arrives at school before 9.00am, to allow for registration and toilets before going on the bus.

Please be mindful that the buses will be parking on James Taylor Avenue, and to allow access for the buses.

The bus will be leaving at 9.10am, and will return to the school for 12.15pm.

If your child is a home lunch, please send in a note or phone the school before 9.10am.

WE WILL BE PROVIDING A SNACK AND A DRINK FOR ALL PUPILS.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD WITH AN ADDITIONAL SNACK.

Looking forward to another fabulous whole school trip.

P1 and P2 Party

P1 & P2 Pupils

They can come to school dressed in their party clothes, or bring them in a bag to change into before the party.

If you wish your child to go home and change at lunchtime, please send in a note or phone the school to advise.

All P1 & P2 pupils going home at lunchtime, can be collected from the infant gate at 12.15pm.

Please return your child to the school via the main school gate at 12.55pm.

P1 Registration

P1 Registration

Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2024 and 28 February 2025 and whose parents/carers wish them to attend school should be registered for education during the week Monday 8 January 2024 until Friday 12 January 2024.

To register you should complete an online application and submit no later than Friday 12 January 2024.

If you are unable to register online then please phone your local school who will assist you to register your child.

Odeon Trip – Thursday 21st December

Thursday 21st December is our whole school trip to Odeon Kilmarnock.

We will be leaving Catrine PS at 9.00am and will return for 12.15pm.

Please ensure your child arrives at school before 9.00am on Thursday morning.

WE WILL BE PROVIDING A SNACK AND DRINK FOR ALL PUPILS.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A SNACK.

P3 – Dress Rehearsal and Christmas Service Information

P3 Parents/Carers – Can you please ensure that your child is wearing a Christmas jumper on the following days;

Tuesday 19th December – Dress Rehearsal

Wednesday 20th December – Christmas Service & Nativity.

We have a few jumpers at school. Please phone if you require one.

Change to school meals for 21st & 22nd

Please note the change for school meals on Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd December.

Thursday 21st December – the options will be Pizza & Vegetable Pakora ( please note that if you have booked the Quorn option, it will be replaced with pakora)

Friday 22nd December – Soup and a sandwich. This has been updated on Parentpay.

Previous order for this day will be deleted and you have to go back on to parent pay and select for your child.

P7 – Dolphin House

Parents/carers of P7s that are going on the Dolphin House residential trip in January:

There are a few permission forms still to be returned and a few payments to be made for the trip and bus.

Can you please ensure that the forms are returned and payments made by Friday 22nd December?

Christmas Fayre – See you tonight

Our doors will open at 6.00pm this evening for our Christmas Fayre.

Everyone welcome, we hope you can join us.

Remember its a cash only event.

Craft tables,  Nail painting & tattoos, Raffle, Chocolate Tombola, Biscuit decorating, Tea & Coffee, and lots more.

Those Elves are having too much fun in the office!!!

What have they found today?

All will be revealed this evening at the Fayre.

 

Christmas Parties

Just a reminder that next week will be the Christmas Parties.

Monday 18th December – P3, P4 & P5

Tuesday 19th December – P6 & P7

Wednesday 20th December – P1 & P2

Pupils can come to school dressed in their party clothes, or bring them in a bag to change into before the party. Please note that if they come dressed in party clothes, they will be out at playtime and will require a Jacket.

If you wish your child to go home and change, please send in a note that they will be a home lunch. PLEASE NOTE THAT PUPILS IN P1 & P2 WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED.

1 Day to go to the Christmas Fayre.

All the planning and preparations are being finalised for tomorrow evening.

Fayre starts at 6.00pm, we hope you will join us for some festive fun.
