Make Catrine Sparkle

Thank you to Catrine Community Council and Crag Community Arts, Girvan, for coming along the last two Fridays, to help our pupils make lanterns for Make Catrine Sparkle.

A big thank you to our parent helpers for getting stuck in with all the gluing and paper cutting.

The event is on this Sunday 1st December.

Gather at the grass area outside the top shop/Chinese for 4.30pm to collect the lights for your lantern.

Parade starts at 5.00pm.

Christmas Dinner Choice

To allow our Kitchen Manager to plan our Christmas Dinner, please select your children’s Christmas Dinner.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST ALSO BOOK THIS OUT ON PARENTPAY.

The meal is available as dairy free and halal.

Please complete the form by Friday 29th November, thank you.

Christmas Dinner

Can you help us……?

We are looking for old rolls of wall paper.

Do you have any lying in a cupboard?  It does not need to be a full roll, – any amount of paper left on the roll would be great.

If you have any please let us know, and hand into the school before Friday.

Thank you

JRSO – Be Safe Be Seen

Friday 22nd November – Be Safe Be Seen

The JRSO committee are asking for pupils to come to school on Friday in bright clothes as part of our whole school Road Safety awareness raising.

This is optional and pupils can still wear their school clothes, if they wish.

After School Homework Club

After school Homework Club

Our second block of Homework starts next week with a Literacy focus.

To support both pupils and parents/carers, we will have an after school Homework Club from 3.00-4.00pm, on Tuesdays 12th, 19th and 26th November and 3rd December.

Pupils and parents/carers of all stages are invited to join us.

It’s a drop-in session so parents and pupils don’t need to come every week or stay for the full time – the time can be used to help support our pupils to complete their Literacy homework and to use laptops for research/reference, if required.

If you’re planning to join us, please collect your child as usual at 3.00pm then make your way to our Main Office.
