
Kilmarnock Cricket Club – Girls Sessions


Pupils will bring home today a sponsor sheet for the upcoming event so that they can collect sponsors for taking part in the fitness challenge.
The sponsored challenges will take place in school on Wednesday 20th May in the afternoon. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in on this date so that they can join in with the fun.
All sponsor money can be brought into the school. Thank you in advance for your support with this event – money raised will be spent on sports equipment for use by the whole school.

Parent and Carer Transition Evening taking place on Monday 25th May where parents/carers/pupils will find out lots of information about the transition into S1.
The evening is a ticket only event and will take place over two sessions which will be first come first serve.
Your child will bring home a letter today with all the details.

We are pleased to offer our P5, P6 & P7 pupils an opportunity to take part in an after school badminton class.
This will run on the following dates, Thursday 14th, 21st & 28th May from 3.00pm – 4.00pm.
We only have 15 places available, it will be offered on a first come first served basis.

On the in-service day on Thursday 7th May, we joined up with colleagues from Mauchline PS to focus on the teaching and learning of Numeracy across all stages.
It was a very enjoyable and productive session, sharing excellent practice, ideas and resource recommendations. We look forward to visiting Mauchline PS again for more professional learning.

Our whole school summer trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park will be on Wednesday 24th June.
The cost per child is £9.00, this is a reduced cost thanks to the Parent Council making a donation of £4 per child towards the cost. The cost includes entry into the park and the bus. Please make payment by Friday 12th June via parentpay. Thank you

We close at 3.00pm today and reopen on Tuesday 5th May at 9.00am.
We also have an inservice day next week on Thursday 7th May, pupils do not attend school on this day.
