Catrine PS – Report Cards

Your child is coming home with their annual report card today so make sure to check those schoolbags!

We are always very proud to write about their achievements and successes throughout the year and we look forward to seeing you at our Parents Night next Wednesday 1st April, to discuss their progress and targets.

Have a lovely weekend. Mrs Govans

Parent/Carer Questionnaire

Parent & Carers Questionnaire – Please complete by Wed 1st April.

At Catrine PS we are always looking to constantly improve our school to ensure our pupils receive the best possible learning, teaching and support.

It would be much appreciated if you could complete the attached questionnaire – it’s only 20 multiple choice questions so it won’t take more than 5 minutes and your responses and views are very important to us.

All responses are anonymous and your answers help us to plan our next steps.

Thank you for your continued support.  Mrs Govans

Home Circles @ March

Now that Spring has sprung, in our Home Circles we talked about how lighter nights means more time outside playing with friends and family.

Our BIG questions were –

  • How can we keep ourselves safe when we’re out and about?
  • Where are the safe places I can play after school?
  • What are the ways I can keep myself safe when I’m out playing?

Check out their awesome answers below…

Barony Burns Festival

Pupils from Catrine Primary School attended the Barony Burns Festival this morning.

They recited their Scottish poem in front of external judges, along side pupils from other Primary Schools in the area.

Well done to the three boys that went along and represented Catrine.  Harry was awarded 3rd place for the P6/P7 category.
