We will have a no cost dress down day on Friday 10th October.

This is our last day before the October school holidays.

We close at 3.00pm on the 10th October and reopen at 9.00am on Tuesday 21st October.

Our Harvest Service will take place on Wednesday 8th October at 9.15am. Everyone welcome.

This year we are asking for all pupils to bring along one tin/packet of food, not perishable items.  Food donations can be brought into school by pupils from Tuesday 30th September.

Our food collection will be donated to the Catrine Over 50’s Club, who will distribute the food to elderly people in Catrine.

P7 Leavers Hoodies

We are ordering our Hoodies soon, to conform with GDPR guidelines, we require permission from a parent/carer to pass their child’s first name onto the printing company. The list of names will be sent away shortly to allow the design to be completed. Your child will be picking their colour choice and size in school.  Please complete the form to give consent. P7 Leavers Hoodies

The staff have organised and collected items to make up two Autumn Hampers.

For a chance to win one of the hampers, you can purchase tickets via Parentpay. The tickets are £1 each, with the maximum purchase of £10.00.

The tickets go on sale on Friday 26th September until Tuesday 7th October. The winners will be drawn at the Harvest Service on Wednesday 8th October.

All funds raised go towards the Christmas outing buses.

Well done to this week’s winners for being excellent pupils in the dinner hall.

We held our first whole school Home Circles of the new school session today, welcoming our new P1 pupils.

All of our pupils worked together in their new Home Circle, listening to each other and agreeing on their responses.

Today’s BIG questions were based on ‘Our Excellent Lesson‘ – we asked our pupils to give two examples for each of our five Excellent Lesson essentials:

• an inclusive classroom that is calm and kind
• builds on what we already know
• has clear Learning Intentions (LI) and Success Criteria (SC) that we help to build
• supports and challenges us in ways that helps us most
• gives feedback that helps us move forward in our learning
