Japan (Kirkstyle) is currently sitting in Bronze medal place within East Ayrshire following on from a Learning Community win against Loanhead, Hillhead and St Andrews primaries in basketball. Aiden McCutcheon was awarded man of the match for his excellent game play in each of the heats. The team headed off to the final held yesterday at Kilmarnock College against the semi finalists, they returned home with another bronze medal winning performances. Daniel Wood was awarded a special prize for outstanding play in the final games.

             

The school have added a Japan display to our downstairs wall and hope to keep it up to date with all the Olympic News and scores. The motto for Japan is “Determination” and we hope that the competitors show some in the coming events.

Urgent News update – Japan (Kirkstyle)is now 1st equal with Brazil (Onthank)

We have had the badminton and the team made it through to the final where they came fourth. Well done all of you
