Another eggciting day with our eggs. This morning Brooke was first to notice that one of the eggs had a small crack. By lunchtime 5 eggs had cracked and whilst observing the incubator Jack B and Sophie heard the chicks chirping.

Cracking Fun for Primary 3 and Primary3/4
Everyone was eggstatic yesterday with eggcitement when an incubator with 10 fertilized eggs was delivered to room 12. As part of our science study of lifecycles we are going to be able to follow the journey of our eggs. Our incubator is sitting at 37 degrees and we are keeping our eyes peeled for any changes. We can’t wait!!!!!!
Robert Burns
Primary 6 have been studying the life of Robert Burns and have enjoyed reading his most popular poem Tam O’ Shanter. On Burns’ Day the class helped to prepare haggis, neeps and tatties which they later devoured. When we visited the Burns House Museum in Mauchline the children had a chance to dress up and explore the rooms to find answers to a quiz, then take part in a drama workshop where they acted out Tam O’ Shanter. Everyone had a great time.
